Islamic Relief Somalia has been implementing Islamic Relief- Puntland Office is implementing the Strengthening Community Resilience and Economic Empowerment Programme (SHEEP) project which aims to enhance fishery activities by supporting the community’s fishing facilities in Bari, regions in Puntland.

Islamic Relief Somalia hereby invites to the potential bidders with the following bid; supply of cold store and installation solar system:

Delivery Location: Kulule and Celdhidar – Bari region.
Inco terms: DAP (Delivery at Place).
Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address – this carries an evaluation mark of 5%.
Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months), with full details of account movement – (this carries an evaluation mark of 20%).
Valid Commercial License from the Ministry of Commerce – Puntland, (this carries an evaluation mark of 2%).
Valid Public of Work registration from the Ministry of Public Work – Puntland, (this carries an evaluation mark of 1%).
Tender Board Registration – Puntland – (this carries an evaluation mark of 1%).
Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance – Puntland, (this carries an evaluation mark of 1%).
Evidence of Past Experience in a similar/relevant work (Supply of cold chain equipment’s, Plus Freezers, Refrigerators, etc) E.g. (LPOs/Contracts, etc.) – (this carries an evaluation mark of 30%).
Supplier within the budget-(this carries an evaluation mark of 40%).
Currency: US Dollars.
Payments: 70% of the contract value will be paid after the completion of the 100% of the work/supply, and 30% of the contract will be held retention for three months (90 days).
Completeness of documentations: Partial bids will not be accepted.
Language: English
Bids: Bids should be submitted on the IRS RFQ signed and fully stamped.
Evaluations of Quotations: Only responsive bidders to the technical specifications of the bid will be evaluated.
Award of a Purchase Order/Contract: PO/Contract will be awarded to lowest acceptable priced and technically qualified bidder. The successful bidder will sign a Contract or (Purchase Order) as per the Islamic Relief Somalia General Conditions of Contract for Procurement of Goods or Services.
