I am the Head of Procurement at the Ministry of Livestock and Animal Husbandry, where I lead the planning, sourcing, and management of goods, works, and services that support the country’s livestock sector. With more than eight years of experience in public procurement, I focus on delivering value for money while ensuring every process is transparent, competitive, and fully compliant with national procurement regulations and donor requirements.
My experience covers tender management, contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and contract administration, including the supply of veterinary medicines, vaccines, equipment, and services for animal health and livestock development programs. I lead a team committed to accountability, timely delivery, and strong working relationships with suppliers, partners, and development agencies.
I believe good procurement is more than buying: it protects public resources, strengthens service delivery, and supports farmers and pastoralists who depend on a healthy livestock sector.
