We are committed to achieving our core vision of caring for the people of concern in all countries where we work. Our goal is to provide vulnerable communities in Puntland with access to basic needs including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Basic Health services and Livelihood Support.

Islamic Relief Somalia has been implementing EHREC project which aims improvement of the water availability and livelihood enhancement in Sool regions in Puntland.

Islamic Relief Somalia hereby invites qualified bids for implementation of the following activities:

1 Rehabilitation of 3 boreholes in Tuulo Samankab, Higlo and Xerta Talex in Sool region under EHREC project
As per the BoQs and Designs

Please note Tender document with detail specification will be available and collect at logistics unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office from 09th November – 22th November, 2023 (05:00 PM).

Interested eligible contractors with sound capacity, relevant experience in similar work and duly registered as drillers are here by invited to collect tender document from Islamic Relief Garowe Office.

Requirements for Tender Documents

Inco terms: DAP (Delivery at Place)
Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address
Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months), with full details of account movement.
Valid Commercial License from the Ministry of Commerce.
Valid Public of Work registration from the Ministry of Public Work.
Tender Board Registration
Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance
Evidence of Past Experience in a similar/relevant work (civil works/rehabilitation, etc) E.g. (LPOs/Contracts, etc.).
Currency: US Dollars
Payments: Within 21 days after receipt of invoice
Completeness of documentations: Partial bids will not be accepted
Language: English
Bids: Bids should be submitted on the IRS RFQ signed and fully stamped.
Evaluations of Quotations: Only responsive bidders to the technical specifications of the bid will be evaluated
Award of a Purchase Order/Contract: PO/Contract will be awarded to lowest acceptable priced technically qualified bidder. The successful bidder will sign a Contract (Purchase Order) as per the Islamic Relief Somalia General Conditions of Contract for Procurement of Goods or Services.
Notes:

Interested suppliers with the capacity to deliver are invited to submit their documents to Islamic Relief Garowe office in two separate SEALED envelopes clearly marked with quotation reference number as above and as follows:-

One envelope containing all the technical and administrative documents fully marked as technical docs.
One envelope containing all financial docs including, BoQ/RFQs.
Failure to abide by these rules will lead to automatic dis-qualification.
Tender Duration and Deadline

Tender document with detail specification and terms and conditions will be at logistic unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office, the deadline for submitting bids is 22th November, 2023 (05:00 PM). and any tender or documents received later than this date and time will not be accepted.
