INVITATION FOR BID (IFB): PROVISION OF SCHOOL FURNITURE (NON-COASTAL SET, TABLES, AND CHAIRS) FOR SCHOOLS IN THE SOOL REGION.

ALIGHT (formerly ARC) is implementing Education project in SSC Khatumo. In reference to this, ALIGHT/ARC invites tender from qualified, registered companies as detailed above, the detail description is summarized in accordance with procedures, conditions, and contract terms, as specified in this tender document and the BOQ.

Alight Somalia is seeking qualified contractors for the subject of the above head title.

(All tender documents MUST be submitted on company’s letter head and on ALIGHT/ARC template provided as part of the tender documents).

  1. Qualification and Conditions: The main criteria for admission to the tender process are as follows:
  2. Certificate of Registration from the National Government Certifying Authority (Attach Certificate of Incorporation)
  3. Must be a registered company in SSC Khatumo
  4. A good track record and references from previous clients, preferably from UN and INGOs, with a contract value of $40,000 and above. The contractor should provide proof of experience in similar tasks, having completed at least three projects of a nature and complexity equivalent to these works within the last five years. Additionally, please include telephone contacts and email addresses for at least three referees.
  5. Submission of the latest certified bank statement of the applying entity for at least last 6 months.
  6. Submission of Tax compliance certificate
  7. Official Quotation with company’s letter head, stamp and signed in the attached BOQ provided.
  8. Bidders are required to familiarize themselves with the site at their own cost before preparing and submitting this tender. The site is at the following co-ordinates-ALIGHT

Additional information

  1. Tender will be opened thereafter immediately in the presence of procurement committee
  2. Selected Vendor will notify through email after completion of paperwork
  3. Selected vendor will receive his/her service amount after 100% completion of contract
