APU Research Conference in 2025

Theme: “ENHANCING RESPONSIBILITIES OF SOCIAL SERVICES”

APU is pleased to announce its 1st Research Conference, scheduled to take place on April 20-23, 2025, in Puntland Somalia. The conference will focus on the critical role of the different stakeholders in enhancing responsibilities of social services, addressing challenges, identifying opportunities, and fostering innovations in social service provisions.

The conference invites abstract submission from scholars, researchers, and practitioners who are interested in contributing to discussions on the various aspects of stakeholder engagement for better social services.

Submission and review process:

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Research Committee (RC) in collaboration with the Conference Steering Committee (CSC). The RC will make the final decisions on acceptance.

Accepted abstracts must be developed into full research papers for presentation and dissemination at the conference.

Abstract submission deadline: February 30, 2025

Submission Guidelines:

·         The abstract should range from 250 to 400 words, and it has (i) a title, name(s) of the author(s), author(s) affiliation, and a maximum of five (5) keywords.

·         E-mail addresses and WhatsApp numbers for authors and corresponding authors.

·         The structure of the abstract should be an introduction, main objective, methods, key findings, conclusion, and key recommendations.

·         The abstract should not be presented at any other conferences before.

·         The abstract can be written in English, Somali, and Arabic.
