Request For Proposals – Research Framework Partners

SSF III is seeking to contract a Research Framework Partner to accompany the full programme life cycle ( 6-8 years) under a drawdown/IDIQ Contract.

The Research Partner will maintain a roster of expert analysts and consultants under framework contracts with in-depth knowledge of SSF III’s thematic areas (political dialogue, conciliation, democratisation and local governance, mutual accountability and responsiveness), as well as local teams or local research partners, with strong understanding of and access to the different geographical areas SSF III works in.

The research partner will be expected to provide various research products as detailed in the Scope of Work a few assignments include:

Providing weekly, quarterly, and annual context analysis on key trends and developments relevant to SSF III’s Workstreams 2-4 (Conciliation, Democratisation and Local Governance, Social Contract);
Provide weekly and quarterly context analysis on developments relevant to SSF III’s programming under the five Workstreams, as well as test crucial assumptions that underpin SSF III’s nested and overall Theories of Change (ToC).
Be called upon on short notice to carry out and produce rapid analysis;
Collect data, perform analysis, and deliver reports for task orders on in-depth
studies.

The Research Partner will be expected to be able to carry out research design, data collection, analysis, and reporting in alignment with SSF III’s four strategic bedrocks for Workstream 5
The preferred research provider will be required to demonstrate local teams and partnerships with access and experience across all geographic areas SSF III works in.
