Sales Engineer of Power Generation

Daldhis Power Solutions a Member of Daldhis Group of companies based in Puntland Somalia is
looking for an experienced and Motivated Sales Engineer to promote sales of Power Generation
Engines/Generators, Parts, Engine lubrications and Filtration in PL Market.
The candidate should have proven experience in sales field especially related Power generation
industry, with an excellent knowledge of the Power and Sales field of study. Addition to enough
knowledge of the Somalia and English languages (Verbal and writings), you will also
demonstrate strong ability of team work and working under pressure

➢ Number of Positions: One
➢ Report to: Sales Manager/operation manager
➢ Duty Station: Bosaso- Puntland with Puntlnad regions travel if required.
➢ Salary: as per Company salary Policy
➢ Starting date: ASAP
Responsibilities and Duties
As Sales Engineer, you required to perform the following duties and undertake the following
responsibilities in a professional manner
The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below,
and specific functions are subject to change;
• Support Service department for commissioning and maintenance work
• Make daily sales and follow-up calls, product detailing, outstanding orders follow-ups.
• Answers questions from clients about product and service benefits
• Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service and
care
• Prepare and issue Sales quotes , Proforma invoices for customers
• Tracks sales data and works to meet quotas or sales team goals
• Analyses trends, records for Engine populations in the region or country wise, pricing
strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales
performance.
• Attend meetings on time and taking minutes if instructed to do so
• Develop sales improving initiatives and approaches for various products such as special
offers, sponsored events, etc.
• Complete the following: customer sales reports, monthly territory reports, expense
reports, Sales Operations Plan (SOP) monthly report, etc
• Identify and communicate customer requirements, solve problems, as well as identify
and pursue new growth opportunities.
• Introduce and follow up on new products, provide product samples, managing
distributor target account programs where applicable,
• Conduct market share analysis
• Establish friendly business and interpersonal relationships developing an in-depth
rapport with high-level management at all customers and potential customers by
getting to know intimately customers’ organization, personnel and responsibility lines.
• Carries out various activities related to such areas as shipping and receiving, materials
handling, warehousing and inventory control, and/or property management, as
appropriate to the position.
• Performs routine customer service-related activities, as appropriate to the position,
such as security escort, providing directions to locations and/or services, and/or
courtesy transport.
• Recording, Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer
service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
• Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper
follow-up.
• Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues.
• Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract
renewals and system sales.
• Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all
accounts within assigned area.
• Any Other duties as you may be assigned from time to time by the employer

Skills and qualifications

Personal Qualifications:
1. Minimum Credential University Bachelor degree of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Sales
Marketing and Power generation related fields of study.
2. Minimum 2-5 years’ Experiences in Power Generations Technologies selling and marketing or
related industries.
3. Excellent In Computer Applications and Emailing
4. good in driving, valid Driver license will be added value
5. Excellent both Somali and English Languages
6. Highly Innovative and Creative character
